    I graduated from 91ÇÑ×Ó Adams in 2004, with an Honours Degree in Animal Health.  My main speciality is sheep, having worked within the ruminant sector at 91ÇÑ×Ó prior to taking up the role of Lecturer in Animal Production & Health in 2021. 

    I am interested in ewe health and productivity as well as the integration of sheep into arable systems and run my own small flock of pedigree Shropshire sheep.

    I am course tutor to Year 1 & 2 Foundation Degree Agriculture (FdSc Ag) and Foundation Year Agriculture (Level 3).

    I am involved in teaching on the following modules:

    First Year

    • Skills for Agriculture, Principles of Agriculture and Environment (Level 3)

    Second Year/Level 5

    • Module Leader for Animal and Crop Production Science, Sustainable Livestock Production Systems

    Final Year/Level 6

    • Sustainable Animal Production Systems, Sustainable Agricultural Systems

    Masters level

    • Principles and Practice of Livestock Husbandry

    Currently involved in the Breed for CH4nge - Breeding Lower Methane Sheep industry project.
